From the inventory list in Switzerland to assembly in Madrid or your destination.
Viewing and inventory list
We assess the volume free of charge on site or by video and prepare the inventory list for customs.
Preparing your departure
You deregister with your municipality and register with the Swiss representation in your destination country. Compulsory Swiss health insurance ends when you move abroad.
Customs papers
Household goods are generally duty-free when you relocate your residence, under Regulation (EC) No 1186/2009. We prepare the documents for export from Switzerland and import into Spain and accompany the clearance. We handle the import clearance ourselves.
Transport
Direct trip on your date or a cheaper shared load, insured with our transport insurance. It is about 1,252 km as the crow flies from Glattbrugg to Madrid.
Arrival and assembly
We unload at your destination in Spain, assemble furniture and unpack on request.

Customs and Documents for Moving to Spain
When moving from Switzerland to Spain, goods must be declared and import lists created.

Anyone staying in Spain for longer than 90 days must register as an EU/EFTA citizen for the “Certificado de Registro de Ciudadano de la Unión” (green NIE certificate) and additionally register their residence at the town hall in the Padrón municipal – this registration is a prerequisite for many local administrative procedures. As with our quotes, this is a flat-rate offer with a guaranteed price incl. insurance and protective materials. The final price is determined individually after a free on-site assessment.
